Odsherred Zoo Rescue specialises in rescuing and caring for exotic animals. If you have an exotic animal that needs help, you have come to the right place.
We take in exotic animals of all kinds, including reptiles, birds, mammals, and other exotic species. This includes animals that have been kept illegally. Our focus is always on the animal's welfare.
If you can no longer care for an exotic animal, you can hand it over to us. You also have the option to do so anonymously.
There is a fee of 800 DKK when handing over an animal, which covers our costs for intake and initial care.
When you hand over an animal to us, responsibility transfers to Odsherred Zoo Rescue. As a rescue zoo, it is not possible to visit the animal enclosures or go behind the scenes. You are welcome to contact us for more information about the animal's welfare.
